Gear for Racquetball

1) Racquetball goggles/glasses

The most important piece of equipment is your eye protection! You should never consider going on a racquetball court without goggles/glasses that are specifically designed and certified for racquetball. (They can be worn with other sports too.)

2) Court shoes/sneakers

There is a tendency to not take the footwear very seriously. Most people will wear whichever shoe they have available. That kind of thinking can cause you to get injured. You should never wear running shoes on a racquetball court. Running shoes are made for you to go straight ahead. Racquetball is stop and go and changing directions. You can twist your ankle or do worst to your knees with running shoes. If you don't play racquetball often and you don't want to spend the money for court shoes than play with cross training shoes.
