X-Games meets Tranquility

Adventure, Balance, Wellness. For avid yogis and former pro snowboarders Gary Zebrowski and Caroline Beliard-Zebrowski, its the slogan for a life well lived. The husband and wife team recently started a new venture and launched My Surf Yoga Retreat, a new travel concept for those into surf, yoga and change. The trips include stays in France, California, Tahiti, and more. And those 'retreating' are doing just that, in so many ways. 

“By organizing these retreats we wanted to share our roots, culture and passions with others”, says Caroline. “The boat trip in Tahiti is the best example of what we want to share with people: immersing them into the Tahitian culture, having them surf spots nobody could surf otherwise, going deep-sea fishing, doing yoga on deserted islands, and yes, forgetting about their cell phone and Facebook.” 

A great idea for the avid adventurer. I mean, after a day of snowboarding down the Pyrenees mountains or playing with giant green Tahitian waves, I can't imagine a hot cocoa overlooking snow-covered mountains or Mai Tai under a palm tree on an exotic beach could be appreciated any more.
